In the third quarter of 2025, the virtual pet app market in Europe showcased intriguing trends across top-performing applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying degrees of success in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

My Talking Tom Friends 2 by Outfit7 Limited, launched mid-July, saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $1.3K in late July, before gradually declining to around $644 by the end of September. Downloads started strong with over 655K in mid-July and, after a declining trend, stabilized at around 129K by the quarter's end. Notably, active users rose significantly, peaking at over 1.1M in late July, then decreased to about 344K.
